Eliza is a 4*/ Advanced level event rider who has also shown thru 4th level Dressage and has a background in Hunter/Jumpers. She has produced many horses from the ground up to the upper levels. Eliza takes her time and pays careful attention to details to help her students understand what they are feeling and learning. She excels at working with young green horses and teaches them to enjoy their work.
Lessons are $100 to ride with a group of 2-4 riders. The length of the lesson is adjusted based on the number of riders. Auditors are welcome for $10. Due to the nature of Eliza’s travel, payment is required to reserve your spot and is non-refundable unless the clinic itself is cancelled. Ken has extensive experience judging, competing and training at the very top levels of the hunter, jumper and equitation disciplines. His accomplishments include qualifying for and competing in the 1992 Olympic Selections Trials for Barcelona and producing Zone 1 USEF two time horse of the year “Tanglewood”, Riding USEF Zone 2 horse of the year “Ramsey”, and producing dozens of Grand Prix level horses such as “Rashnu”, “Lucky Again”, “Ashe”, “Skip With Me”, and “Tango”.
Ken began his career under the late Barney Ward and has trained with and been mentored by many of the greats including George Morris, Anne Kursinski, Leslie Howard, Peter Leone, Anthony D’Ambrosio Jr, and Brian Lenehan. Ken himself has coached students to wins at Marshal and Sterling, New England, and Connecticut finals, and with his extensive knowledge, he has become a very popular clinician.
Ken’s judging resume includes assignments at Ocala, Culpeper, Thermal, IHSA, NCAA, IEA, and many more including the Diamond Mills $500,000 Hunter Derby.
